The VIP Preview/Media Day was held the day after the Competition to hear Competition Director Debra Del Fiorentino announce the results, hear details of the June event, taste some of the gold-and-above winners, paired with charcuterie by chef Marc-Henri Jean-Baptiste.

The June event began with The VIP Experience: Rosé Without Cliché.  Idlewild Wines’ Thomas DeBiase led a panel presentation of iconic winemakers and chef Marc-Henri.  Pouring was Jeff Runquist (Jeff Runquist Wines), Rick Moshin (Moshin Vineyards) and Rick Davis (Calstar Cellars).

The Grand Curated Pairing brought 26 gold-and-above wineries pairing with gourmet bites provided by Melissa Yanc (Quail & Condor), Brian Back (Way Station, Fairfax), Itamar Abramovitch (Blossom Catering, Napa) and Chef Marc-Henri Jean-Baptiste (Maison Porcella).
